well, whether or not you like Far From Me, this was the very first. I think what is interesting about Brent's numbers is that they all seem to emerge
...
fully formed and evolve very little. Look at how the band worked out Lost Sailor > St. of Circumstance over the six months prior to this show and compare it to the two Brent songs that debut in the same period of time. I don't mean to denigrate Brent's work - they're credible songs that stayed in the rotation, they just don't seem to have quite the same innate complexity and opportunity for exploration of the more universally beloved stuff.

I kind of like Far from me - maybe not to close the first or in the 2nd set, but... Not a bad show - nice estimate/Eyes. Thought I saw a video of Belushi
...
during US Blues years ago. But I can't find it anywhere?
